Because the deaths of more than 2801 people in New York City (NYC) including 343 fireman and 75 police, the assault and aggravated battery against hundreds of thousands of the residents of and workers in NYC, the severe damage to the health of 250,000 to 400,000 from the pollution resulting from the attack, and the destruction of hundreds of millions of dollars of private property in NYC were the result of a conspiracy committed in NYC, we, the undersigned do hereby petition the Attorney General of the State of New York and the District Attorney of for the Borough of Manhattan to investigate and prosecute those responsible for the crimes listed here and assist in the civil suits by the victims for money damages against the perpetrators.
